The Union Gravball Association (UGA) is the pre-eminent professional grav-ball league in the Union. It has 19 franchised member clubs (17 in the Union and 2 in the Free Confederacy) The UGA is one of the four major Union professional sports leagues. UGA players are the Union's best paid sportsmen, by average annual salary per player.

The league was founded in Unity City on June 6, 1982, as the Gravball Association of Union (GAU). The league adopted the name Union Grav-Ball Association on August 3, 1999, after merging with its rival Union Graball League (UGL). The league's several intergalactic as well as individual team offices are directed out of its head offices located in Unity City.
